Wong Kiew-kit (1944-)

„Wong/黃” a vezetékneve, a „Kiew/僑” jelentése „tengerentúli”, a „Kit/傑” pedig „kiváló/tehetség”

Wong Kiew-kit a kínai mitikus Déli Shaolin-kolostor hagyományának nagymestere, amelyet nem szabad összetéveszteni a Henan tartományban található, általánosan ismert Shaolin-kolostorral. Wong 1982-ben alapította a Shaolin Wahnam Intézetet, hogy Shaolin művészeteket tanítson a nyilvánosságnak.

Wong Kiew Kit has practised and taught Shaolin arts for more than 30 years and has over 2,000 students. He is the fourth generation successor of Monk Jiang Nan of the Shaolin Monastery and Grandmaster of Shaolin Wahnam Kung Fu Institute. In 1997 he was made Qigong Master of the Year at the Second World Congress in San Francisco. He is the author of several books on oriental wisdom including The Art of Chi Kung, The Art of Shaolin Kung Fu, The Complete Book of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung for Health and Vitality.
