Associate Professor Cristina Rocha is an ARC Future Fellow at the Religion and Society Research Centre. She is the editor of the Journal of Global Buddhism and the Religion in the Americas book Series, Brill. Her research areas are: globalisation, religion, transnationalism and cross-cultural negotiations, with a particular interest in the cultural traffic between Japan, Brazil and Australia. She is currently researching transnational Pentecostal connections between Australia and Brazil and the Brazilian community in Australia.
