Their laughter...
the woods filled with white trillium
and sunshine

A man
and a breeze
turn a page together

In every puddle
the after-storm-sky reflecting...
all the quiet

Oars creak...
the setting sun
darkens the river

Morning coolness:
dewdrops swaying
in the spiderweb

No breeze at all:
the hot sunshine-taste
of wild strawberries

Rusted train tracks...
a young maple
turning red

Autumn night:
following the flashlight beam
through rain

Early darkness:
the canary
trills with T.V. ads

A snowbound world:
the wind and two tangled swings
swing together
