Why must we be on the fence?
We must all just be.

If the rain pitter patters,
fill life with laughter!

Her child, lays on her bosom.
Gentle, kind, peaceful.

The world's powerful.
Her child, destined to rule. But,
brisk if not careful.

When silence surrounds
I hold you a bit closer
And that makes me smile

I am grateful for
everything life has in store
and tomorrow, more...

May not be graceful
But I try, my heart is pure
And that's what matters

Sing me lullabies
Let me have the sweetest dreams
As I close my eyes

Need to be needed
